Gut microbiome

Location:  Webinar

Your ‘gut microbiome’ is made up of the trillions of microorganisms, mostly bacteria, living in your intestinal tract. These microorganisms are very important to your health and wellbeing. They help to digest food and absorb nutrients. As well as digestion they are also involved in many other body processes including your metabolism, body weight, immune regulation, brain functions and mood.

Our presenter Sandra Villella will talk about the gut microbiome, and the impact of this on our digestive health and our general health. Sandra will use a series of recipes to illustrate how to nourish and restore the gut microbiota. Sandra is an experienced naturopath working at Jean Hailes and in private practice.
