Submission to the State Treasurer

Published 28 February 2014

With an ageing rural population, improved detection methods and advances in cancer treatments, the number of rural women living with a gynaecological cancer or breast cancer is increasing. Providing peer support options and a message of hope from diagnosis through treatment and beyond, has been highly valued by women who have used our service during our 10 years of operation.

In this submission to the Victorian State Treasurer, we map out our future plans to trial a pilot project to increase access to BreaCan by those isolated through distance.
